Jimmy started out his musical career as a doo-wop singer based in New York, releasing his first single in 1956. He later formed the ‘Jimmy Castor Bunch’ who went on to enjoy US chart success with their 1972 single ‘Troglodyte (Cave Man)'. His meshing of more-than-solid funk grooves, disco ethics and head-turning lyrical sillyness are unique even by 70’s standards.
