MMS

Worried about the supposed flu pandemic?
Scared by what the idiots at the corporate run W.H.O. are telling you?
Don't be.

Continue

of late was spent a little time
reclining in a cushioned boat
scenes were fluffy, picturesque
a tube of flowers near my desk

and so i chewed, steadily without purpose
sodden cake filled my throat effortlessly,
drenched in honey, pickled in perpetuation

greedily and without looking at the watch i've never worn
it went down dreadfully well, yum yum.
and lo! i was sick.
with a flick of the wrist it all came tumbling down into my lap
but that was alright, because my trousers needed a wash.

and then i picked up one layer of pointlessness
that might otherwise be stored in my cold, box shaped heart
and stuffed it smartly in the been and gone.
i could set it aflame, but i can't stand the fumes.

From The Ongoing Wowe

Of course! Sheep!

I've suddenly realised why all the Hippie shops smell of incense! It's to disguise the smell of all the clothes and hats that smell like foreign sheep.

Here are some sheep wandering around a lot of human waste:

Be-ing

Swiftly returning home I am skimming over puddles of essential element, avoiding snails traveling smoothly, slowly, towards or away from the road across the pavement. Surely they just can't understand any of this. The hat bought me a hot cross bun today and sitting watching flies hover in and out of sunlight I was reminded that the number of mildly irritating problems we have in life are as pointless as flies lives, and the flies aren't short of anything. When did anyone ever see a fly with aids, or a fly who bought jeans on eBay that were just slightly too big. Bees are the same for that matter. I call for SOME PEOPLE WALK MILES EVERY DAY TO COLLECT WATER in big letters on bridges over motorways... Are they just like bees? Because bees don't buy HD TV's. I'd rather be a bee, I'd rather just be.

Happy Birthday Robin, you're a super being.

More Adachi...

Nonsense.

Adachi Tomomi

I thought i'd revisit this just because it's beyond amazing.

Technology allows us to do so much for the world, this is a fine example of how it can aid in creating utter ridiculous. Perhaps Elliott ought to take a few tips...

Be sure to listen all the way through to see what Adachi Tomomi can do... Here is a link to some of the instruments Adachi has made... Knobs on tubs style.

I'd love to meet a policeman with long hair

I'd love to meet a policeman with long hair. I'd love to see his hair up in a bun, perched on the top of his head underneath his helmet, which might have to be larger to accommodate his hair. A policeman with long hair and revised helmet design.

Smooth.

There are no pictures of policemen with long hair that i can find presently (It's a crime)  but look at all this weed and the proud cops who found it.

Are humans catalysts for nature's creativity?

Good Friday

I've had a good friday. This isn't an easter based post... I've downloaded a lot of music via soulseek, and i advise anyone who wants to download a huge variety of music to use soulseek, it's simple and effective. No adverts, no viruses, no modern styled interface, just loads of music.
If you do get it, add me: Stereotuna

Most of the hours today have been spent on and off photo-editing from the PILE of pictures i took in Istanbul a couple of weeks ago. Nothing amazing unfortunately, just a consistent decent standard. I wish i'd taken a couple of rolls of film.. like Matthew Peter did. Uploads sooon.

Right, i'm off to eat a stuffed pepper and then go into Canterbury. There's a good night on at the Farmhouse tonight, Ukelele Gangstas, Syd Arthur and Coco Lovers are all playing... and just 3pounds entry!

Life seems rather energised since Hat came.

The Indiana Jones of Virus Hunting

I stumbled across this video after typing 'google' into google.com and clicking on google.org.

What an amazing video.
Everybody knows about aids, recently I walked to No Mans Orchard on the North Downs Way and noticed that people (presumably kids) had written 'AIDS' on quite a few of the posts surrounding the orchard...
It made me wonder about the way we percieve aids in this country, obviously it's a life-affecting issue for many people, but clearly a lack of education on the subject leads to this kind of ignorant attitude in youth. To be honest most kids tend to pay attention in Sex Ed or Heath Ed lessons due to the nature of the topics covered, but thinking back, all we learnt in school about Aids and HIV were that they were very, VERY bad, that we all ought to wear condoms and practice safe sex to avoid catching the virus.
That's all well and good but i'd love to see schools linking this kind of Heath Ed with other classes, such as biology and geography to really gel things together in young minds. Promoting learning about the origins of global problems and what can be done in the future to solve them, through science and through positive and progressive thinking. Personally I had no idea about this kind of research, and this is a lovely introduction to the issues that need to be addressed.
